Two Miles from downtown Durango, Lake Nighthorse is a water-lover's paradise with endless options for fun and relaxation. 

Onsite rentals include paddleboards, kayaks and canoes. Activities include boating, wake surfing, tubing, swimming, fishing and more.

Guide services offered by San Juan Mountain Guides.  Open registration courses and custom programs designed to fit individual goals are available.  Courses available for all ages.

Ziplining

Ziplining experiences available through Soaring Colorado.

Soar over the San Juan Mountains on 27 different zip lines that range from 56 to 1400 feet in length (longest zip line course in the US).

Over a mile and a half of cable on this Colorado Zip Line will carry you across the Animas River and through majestic Old Growth Ponderosa Pines and beautiful Aspen Groves.

White Water Rafting

Purgatory Bike Park: New trails and an established pathway to over 400 miles of backcountry singletracks.  You can rent bikes at Purgatory Sports, Downtown Durango or Pedal the Peaks, Durango. For rentals closer to Purgatory, Cliffside Ski & Bike Rental, Brimstone Bikes and Purgatory Resort Bike Park(In-Park Rentals).

Golfing

Enjoy beautiful mountain views during a round of golf on the manicured greens of the award-winning Mountain and Valley golf courses at The Glacier Club. 

Both courses rest near 7,400 feet and deliver unique features and scenery unparalleled in Colorado.
